About the Role: 
We are seeking a skilled Analyst to join our Data Intelligence team and drive data projects to support our Finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Business and Finance to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and deliver actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Data Management & Reporting:

• Manage data across various platforms, including SAP HANA, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeliness.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards, summarizing key financial metrics.
• These reports may include budget vs. actual analysis, profitability reports, and other relevant financial data.

Analytics & Business Intelligence:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights.
• Leverage data to drive strategic business decisions, and design deploy appropriate analytical solutions.
• Query databases, conduct analyses, develop data models, and manage large data sets to generate actionable insights to key stakeholders.

Collaboration & Communication: 

• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting findings, and making recommendations tailored to the audiences understanding.

Optimize Data Workflows:

• Work on improving existing data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data integrity, and efficient retrieval and processing.
• Create detailed documentation of analysis procedures, data pipelines, and report protocols to ensure continuity and ease of reference for current and future projects.

Profile Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with hands-on exposure to SAP HANA.
• Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with platforms like Hive and the AWS tech stack, including AWS Athena as well as Tableau desktop.
• Demonstrated understanding of finance principles and accounting practices.
• Understanding of business operations and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Analytical mindset strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, platforms, and methodologies as the business and technological landscape evolves.
• Previous experience with SAP reporting and analytics will be a distinct advantage.
• Ability to present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
• Fluent in English, and fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
