About the job: 

We are seeking a reliable and professional Car Rental Driver to join our Destination Management Company (DMC), specializing in inbound tourism services. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting tourists safely and comfortably to and from various destinations, providing full-day transportation services, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities: 

 Transportation Services

• Safely transport inbound tourists to designated destinations including airports, hotels, tourist attractions, business venues, and other scheduled or on-demand locations.

• Provide a full-day car with driver services, staying available throughout the day as per client itinerary or flexible travel needs.

• Remain on standby and responsive to clients’ changes in plans or extended usage during full-day bookings.

 Customer Service

• Greet and welcome guests in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner.

• Assist passengers with luggage and provide basic travel or local information.

• Ensure a smooth, safe, and pleasant travel experience for clients at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct daily inspections for safety and readiness.

• Ensure the vehicle is fully fueled, sanitized, and roadworthy before each assignment.

• Report any mechanical or safety issues to the fleet or maintenance team promptly.

Documentation & Compliance

• Accurately complete daily trip logs, mileage reports, service records, and other required documentation.

• Ensure all necessary vehicle documents (registration, insurance, permits) are valid and kept in the vehicle.

• Follow all traffic regulations and DMC driving policies strictly.

Coordination & Communication

• Stay in contact with the operations team or dispatcher for real-time instructions or changes.

• Communicate any delays, guest concerns, or itinerary deviations immediately.

• Collaborate with guides, tour leaders, and hotel staff when required.

 Emergency Response & Problem Solving

• Act calmly and effectively in case of breakdowns, accidents, guest illness, or travel interruptions.

• Provide assistance or seek help in accordance with DMC emergency protocols.

Profile Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a professional driver; tourism or hospitality experience preferred.

• Familiarity with major tourist routes, hotels, airports, and local attractions.

• Basic spoken English; other language skills are an asset.

• Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Punctual, flexible, and well-groomed.

• Physically capable of assisting with luggage and long driving hours.

• Flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and long shifts.

• Availability for full-day or multi-day bookings based on guest needs.

• Work may involve early mornings, late nights, or waiting time during guest activities.

• Company uniform or dress code may apply.
