About the job:

 The Assistant Manager - Leisure On Ground Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of inbound travel services, working closely with suppliers, clients, and the internal operations team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and leadership capabilities.

The Assistant Manager ensures all services, including tours, transfers, and accommodations, are executed efficiently and meet the company’s quality standards.


 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Operational Support: Assist in managing inbound travel services, including the coordination of tours, transfers, accommodations, and other client activities.

  • Work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure smooth execution of all travel programs.

  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with hotels, transportation providers, tour guides, and other suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors to secure the best rates and terms.

  • Client Communication, Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, providing information, and addressing any issues that may arise during their travels.

  • Ensure that client expectations are met and that any concerns are resolved promptly.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and provide guidance to a team of operations coordinators, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and completed on time.

  • Provide training and performance feedback to team members to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Supplier Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating terms and rates with suppliers, ensuring a balance between cost-efficiency and service quality.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues regarding the quality or delivery of services.

  • Financial Monitoring: Help monitor the operational budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial efficiency.

  • Assist in preparing reports related to financial performance, including profitability and cost management.

  •  Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all operational procedures comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

  • Contribute to implementing safety protocols and contingency plans for unexpected situations.

  • Operational Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to senior management regarding the performance of suppliers, client satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance service delivery.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.

  • maximum of 3-5 years of experience in tourism operations or related fields.

  • strong organizational and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • proficiency in relevant software applications.

  • CRM tools, and other digital systems used in travel operations.

  • language Skills: Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially for working with international clients and suppliers.
