About the role:
We are looking for a Specialist (SAP ABAP/CPI) to manage development & integration delivery. The candidate will be responsible to drive remediation, refactoring, and optimization of custom code to ensure compatibility with S/4HANA 2025 and cloud-ready architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage CPI integration strategy, including interface redesign, migration, testing, and cutover for AWS-based landscapes
  • Manage offshore/onshore development coordination, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project milestones.
  • Experience in RICEFW development, CDS Views, S/4HANA optimization, Clean Core practices, and adoption of ABAP AI capabilities.
  • Develop Modern UI Solutions: Create and maintain OData services to power Fiori applications, replacing legacy SAP GUI screens with responsive, user-friendly experiences.
  • Experience implementing SAP Business AI and Joule capabilities to enhance intelligence, automation, and decision‑making across SAP landscapes.
  • Accelerate Development with AI: Use AI-powered co-pilots like Joule Studio to automate the Business processes.
  • Manage design, configuration, and support of SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) and Data Medium Exchange (DME) processes within the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient payment and bank communication operations.
  • ABAP/CPI support queues, internal and external & SLA adherence.
  • Configure and manage secure APIs using SAP API Management.
  • Handle encryption/decryption and manage security artifacts.
  • Use historical PI/PO interface messages as test cases for new iFlows to ensure functional parity and zero business disruption during cutover.

Profile Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken, written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be preferred.
  • A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution preferably in the fields of Business, Engineering, Computer science, Information systems or similar degree.
  • 6+  years of SAP ABAP experience and 4 years experience working on platforms including SAP PI/PO and CPI, with a strong track record delivering scalable, enterprise-grade S/4HANA solutions for various industries.
  • At least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations, including 1 S/4HANA program, with end-to-end experience across ABAP development and integration delivery using SAP PI/PO and CPI.
  • Proven experience leading development teams through S/4HANA upgrades or major transformation programs.
  • Experience with cloud migrations (preferably AWS) and working with hyperscaler-based SAP deployments.Ability to manage vendors, offshore teams, and multiple development tracks simultaneously.
  • General understanding of various SAP deployment options, i.e. Rise with SAP, HEC, GCP, AWS & on prem. & its association with BTP, BDC, FIORI and SAC
