About the job:
will lead the entire lifecycle of domestic travel products for Discover Saudi, focusing on Saudi Arabia's unique cultural and natural attractions. This involves designing and developing innovative packages, itineraries, and experiences, ensuring they align with market demands and company strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and planning of innovative travel products, including packages, itineraries, activities, and unique experiences, aligning with market relevance and current demands.
- Develop product concepts that directly support Almosafer and Discover Saudi Arabia's strategic goals, emphasizing Saudi Arabia's unique cultural and natural attractions.
- Drive product development initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to secure competitive rates and exclusive inclusions for all package components, including hotels, transportation, and tours.
- Collaborate effectively with on-ground operations teams to ensure flawless execution of in-house developed products and itineraries.
- Work closely with content and marketing departments to produce high-quality brochures, website content, and collateral.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, overseeing all product-related communications to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Engage with the training department to create city guides and facilitate comprehensive training and educational activities for sales and reservation teams, ensuring product expertise.
- Provide expert product support to business development, sales, and market representatives, addressing all product-related inquiries.
- Monitor travel product sales and performance metrics, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Uphold the highest standards of authenticity and service quality for all tours, experiences, and packages, ensuring they consistently deliver on the Discover Saudi brand promise.
- Conduct site visits, mystery shopping, and gather guest feedback from the reservation team to maintain and recommend strategic product enhancements based on a thorough analysis of guest and market representatives' feedback.
- Conduct in-depth market research, utilizing insights from market representatives, tour operators, and competitor analysis.
- Assist cross-functional teams throughout the entire travel product lifecycle, from initial creative work to sales channel integration, online publishing, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain accurate product briefs for creative and marketing departments, ensuring consistent and compelling product representation
Profile Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead the end-to-end design and planning of innovative travel products (packages, itineraries, activities, unique experiences).
- Strong ability to drive product development initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive rates and exclusive inclusions for package components.- Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
- Capability to provide expert product support to business development, sales, and market representatives.
- Ability to monitor travel product sales and performance metrics and leverage insights for continuous improvement.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of authenticity and service quality.
- Ability to conduct in-depth market research, including site visits, mystery shopping, and gathering guest feedback.
- Experience assisting cross-functional teams throughout the travel product lifecycle.*
- Language Proficiency: Good English language skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft and Google tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Google Slides, PPTX, etc.).
