About the job:

You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and support of end-user devices, systems, and applications within Almosafer. This role involves providing technical assistance to end users, managing hardware and software deployments, and troubleshooting issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other end-user computing resources.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to end users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
  • Assist users with technical inquiries, software installations, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Implement and enforce security policies on end-user devices to ensure data protection and system integrity.
  • Conduct regular updates and patches on end-user computing systems.
  • Coordinate the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of software applications on end-user devices.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for end users on new hardware, software, or system features.
  • Create documentation and user guides to assist with self-service problem resolution.
  • Provide remote assistance to users working in branches and remote locations, ensuring a consistent and reliable computing experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to remote connectivity and access.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect end-user devices and data.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the procurement of end-user computing hardware and peripherals.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of end-user devices and associated equipment.

 

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in end-user support and computing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and productivity software.
  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with Ethernet networking, LAN/WAN network technologies, the OSI model, TCP/IP, switching, routing, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
  • Experience supporting users within meeting rooms.
  • ITIL is an advantage.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in an IT Support role.
