About the role:

The Manager – SAP FICO will lead the group’s SAP Finance transformation, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. The role focuses on leveraging intelligent technologies, automation, and SAP Business AI to enhance financial processes, reporting, system integration, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a SAP Financials Accounting consultant for the design, implements and deploy of SAP financial solutions for finance work-stream; accounting, cost controls, asset accounting, treasury, and risk management.
  • Ability to drive solutions in the SAP Finance & Costing functions by seamlessly integrating with other modules like SAP SD, MM QM, and support with the establishment of data practice (Finance) via BODS, BDC and SAC.
  • Design and generate financial reports using SAP S/4HANA to support management with decision making.
  • Manage Finance stakeholders and drive the SAP FICO Service/Project pipeline.
  • Lead Finance supports queues, internal and external.
  • Experience implementing SAP Business AI and Joule capabilities to enhance intelligence, automation, and decision‑making across SAP landscapes.
  • Manage requirement gathering, testing, deployment and support of SAP FICO system.
  • Monitoring tickets and effectively managing SAP FICO SLA’s.
  • Lead corporate to bank with SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC), SWIFT and Data Medium Exchange (DME) processes within the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient payment and bank communication operations.
  • Manage SAP FICO Projects, Change requests, Incidents, Service request and Problem tickets.
  • Lead continuous process improvement plans for SAP FICO in order to maximize system utilization, improve reporting analysis tools and increase automation.
  • Maintain Project documentation.
  • Monitor SAP FICO Idocs, error handling and integration with other modules.

 

Profile requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken, written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be preferred.
  • A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution preferably in the fields of Business, Engineering, Computer science, Information systems or similar degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience with SAP Finance Products including SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA.
  • At least 5 full lifecycle of SAP with 1 S4 HANA implementation experience in Finance - General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Treasury and integration with other modules.
  • Well versed with (FSV) financial statement version setup and configuration.
  • Proficient understanding and knowledge of assessment, distribution and allocation.
  • Liaising with third party and offshore resources on solution design in accordance with business requirements and producing detailed Functional specification documentation.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial processes.
  • General understanding of various SAP deployment options, i.e. Rise with SAP, HEC, GCP, AWS & on prem. & its association with Finance solutions/products.
