About the Role:
Almosafer is looking for Manager Platform Engineering SAP FIORI; Work Zone to manage the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of user experience platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and intuitive digital work spaces across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of SAP Fiori and SAP Work Zone platforms, ensuring intuitive, secure, and scalable digital workspaces for business users.

  • Drive UX modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with SAP’s UX roadmap, SAP BTP capabilities, and enterprise architecture standards

  • Oversee the development, configuration, and lifecycle management of Fiori applications, Launchpad, catalogs, roles, and Work Zone workspaces.

  • Develop custom, role-based Fiori apps that prioritize user experience.

  • Manage tiles, groups, and catalogs in the Fiori Central Entry Point.

  • Standard Extensions: Enhance standard SAP Fiori apps using UI5 annotations.

  • Bridge UI components with backend S4HANA data via OData services.

  • Ensure apps perform seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to design and validate application mockups.

  • Ensure custom UI5 applications remain functional and compatible after S/4HANA system updates.

  • Maintain Project documentation.

Profile Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken, written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be preferred.

  • A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution preferably in the
    fields of Business, Engineering, Computer science, Information systems or similar degree.

  • Over 10 years of experience in SAP technologies with deep expertise in SAP Fiori and UI5, along with 2 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Work Zone.
    At least 5 full lifecycle SAP implementations, including 1 S/4HANA program, with end‑to‑end experience delivering SAP Fiori applications and managing digital workplace solutions using SAP Work Zone.

  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, identity and access management, and integration touch points.

  • Proven experience managing platform engineering or UX engineering teams in an SAP environment.

  • Experience with cloud migrations (preferably AWS) and working with hyperscaler‑based SAP deployments.

  • Ability to manage vendors, offshore teams, and multiple development tracks simultaneously.
  • General understanding of various SAP deployment options, i.e. Rise with SAP, HEC, GCP, AWS & on prem. & its association with BTP, BDC, FIORI and SAC.
