About the job:

We are looking for a critical thinker role Director of Supplier Sourcing to assist the company in creating strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining the existing ones. To be a successful Director Supplier Sourcing, you should be able to work with the relevant departments to ensure that all decisions and strategies will be commercial, technical, consumer and data driven.

A high-performing Director should be able to develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance group level sourcing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define the sourcing strategy
  • Discover and explore potential opportunities by contacting potential partners and suppliers.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Manage daily suppliers performance, including technical performance based on internal KPI’s brand status, price/cost analysis, policies and procedures compliance and liaison support to other functions in the company.
  • Responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships.
  • Lead the commercials negotiation with suppliers to focus on achieving company goals and KPI’s - Play key roles and influence negotiation of technical, commercial and operational SLA’s with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier and internal stakeholders meetings to ensure a 360 review of KPI’s adherence or set common KPI’s.
  • Ensure high demand and supply projection and reliability for short, medium and long term.
  • Maintain and expand the supplier portfolio according to internal KPI;s, ensuring product diversity.
  • Frequently interacts with the performance marketing and data team.
  • Plan the supply in order to have the best market adaptability and adaptability to market trend changes.
  • Understand, analyze and identify Trends and Opportunities from the region's trading, destination news and happenings

 

Profile Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience as a Contracting Manager, Account Manager or Supplier Sourcing Roles in Travel or Hospitality E-Commerce company
  • Good knowledge in XML Integrations or other Supplier Management System used in Travel and Hospitality
  • Technical understanding on booking flow in OTA and B2B
  • Got a Dynamic Business Analytical knowledge and used to a data-driven environment
  • Has an excellent communication skills
  • Travel and Tourism Market understanding and expertise
