About the job:
The role holder is responsible for managing a portfolio of Airline and Charter accounts within a specific country, identifying potential collaborations, and promoting exclusive deals to premium positioning of Almosafer. The role holder will develop strong, robust relationships with their counterparts in Airline and Charter accounts to support Almosafer's commercial strategy and grow revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Drives the results through effective planning, resource allocation, work allocation, monitoring, and decision-making in order to achieve the Team-level KPIs.
- Supports in the search for partnerships with Airline and Charter partners in new markets based on the business requirements.
- Participates in the sizing, planning, and prioritization of purchasing with each Airline and Charter partner based on Almosafer's knowledge of market trends and internal delivery capability.
- Supports in the negotiation and contracting of commercial deals and rates with leading Airline and Charter partners to become their preferred supplier.
- Manage the portfolio of key Airline and Charter accounts whilst building strong business relationships.
- Manages multiple Airline and Charter accounts within a specific region, seeking potential collaboration and acquiring exclusive contracts for Almosafer.
- Builds strong working relationships with counterparts in Airline and Charter accounts to track set targets that support the delivery of Almosafer's business objectives.
- Monitors service level agreements (SLA) with assigned Airline and Charter accounts towards the procurement and delivery of contract services to Almosafer.
- Manages supplier contracts SLAs and monitors contract usage and performance.
- Sourcing Improvement.
- Tracks, and analyses performance metrics and sourcing trends on a monthly basis to demonstrate continuous improvement and progress against strategic objectives.
- Defines goals and key performance indicators and ensures effective implementation of the Almosafer performance management process.
Profile Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in managing airline purchasing operations is preferred, especially in travel.
- Holding strong negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of Airline purchasing business processes.
- Basic understanding of the tourism/hospitality landscape in the region.
- Strong understanding of contract development and management processes.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and scenario analysis.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
