About the job:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst – Product Analytics to join Almosafer’s Data Intelligence team, embedded within the Product organization. In this role, you will act as the primary analytics partner for a product vertical, supporting product managers, designers, engineering, and business stakeholders with insights that improve customer experience, conversion, and product adoption.
You will own product analytics for your domain end-to-end — from funnel analysis and experimentation to customer behavior insights — while helping mature our product analytics practice and tooling (Amplitude) across teams. Over time, this role is expected to play a key part in shaping how product analytics is delivered and scaled across Almosafer.
Responsibilities:
Product & Funnel Analytics:
- Act as the primary analytics partner for an assigned product vertical (e.g., Flights, Hotels, Payments, Post-Booking, Loyalty).
- Analyze end-to-end user journeys and funnels across web and app to identify drop-offs, friction points, and conversion opportunities.
- Partner with Product Managers to define success metrics for features, launches, and iterations.
- Track and analyze feature adoption, engagement, and customer behavior over time.
Experimentation & Decision Support:
- Design, analyze, and interpret A/B and multivariate experiments to evaluate product changes.
- Ensure experiments are statistically sound and insights are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
- Support product roadmap prioritization with data-backed recommendations.
- Translate ambiguous product questions into structured analytical problem statements.
Product Analytics Platform (Amplitude):
- Own and help mature Amplitude usage across product teams.
- Define and maintain event tracking plans in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
- Ensure consistency in event definitions, user properties, and core product metrics.
- Enable self-service analytics for product teams through curated dashboards and guides.
BI Reporting & Data Storytelling:
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor product health, funnels, and key product KPIs.
- Develop standardized views for metrics such as conversion rate, activation, retention, repeat usage, and time-to-value.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for product leadership and senior stakeholders.
Collaboration & Governance:
- Act as a bridge between Product teams and the central Data Intelligence function, ensuring alignment with data standards, definitions, and best practices.
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, reliable product datasets.
- Share analytical best practices and learnings with other embedded analysts across Almosafer.
- Contribute to improving data literacy and analytical thinking within product teams.
