About the role:

We're looking for a Finance Operations Officer with a focus on Revenue Assurance to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safeguarding our revenue streams by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all finance processes related to revenue-generating activities. You'll play a key part in identifying and preventing revenue leakage, implementing robust controls, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.

 

 As an Officer, Finance Operations (Revenue Assurance), you will:

 

  • Revenue Process Management:

 

    • Oversee the processing and billing of all revenue-generating events.

    • Audit sales orders to ensure they are comprehensive and compliant with internal processes and company policies.

    • Validate and ensure that product/service prices in billing systems are accurately synchronized with marketing price lists.

 

  • Revenue Leakage Prevention & Analysis: 

    • Assist in implementing initiatives aimed at minimizing revenue leakage for the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), coordinating closely with the Financial Control Department.

    • Analyze SBU revenue leakages and develop processes specifically designed to prevent future occurrences, based on profiles, trends, and patterns of past leakages.

    • Prepare monthly and annual revenue assurance reports, detailing areas of leakage, corrective actions taken, and recovered revenue.

 

  • Process Improvement & Controls:

    • Evaluate and analyze opportunities to revise the revenue process, assessing its implications on interrelated aspects of funding and budgeting.

    • Make recommendations for process improvements and the implementation of preventive controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

 

  • Data Integrity & Compliance:

    • Regularly reconcile sales data between front-end systems and SAP ERP to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

    • Maintain thorough documentation for audit purposes, ensuring full compliance.

    • Cooperate with Corporate Finance to ensure adherence to Corporate Controls’ compliance.

 

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities within the finance operations department.

    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the critical nature of the finance operations department and the pressures of timelines.

 

Profile Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

 

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 1-2 years of experience in the accounting field.

    • Prior experience in handling B2C, B2B, revenue assurance, and reporting is essential.

 

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Experience with SAP or any other ERP system is a must.

    • Proficiency in MS applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) is also required.

 

  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred):

    • A Travel & Tourism industry background is preferred.

    • An intermediate understanding of the travel, tourism, & hospitality landscape in the region is beneficial.

 

  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong relationship management, negotiation, quantitative, and analytical skills.

    • Good ability to manage teams (even if not direct reports, implies strong coordination).

    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
