About the Job :

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Agent to join our call center travel sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our travel products. You will interact with customers over the phone, assist them with their travel needs, and ensure a seamless booking experience.

 

Responsibilities :

 

  • A Sales Officer will be responsible for Handling Inbound and Outbound Calls: Managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls from potential and existing customers.
  • Providing information on travel products and services, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Contacting customers who have shown interest in travel packages or who have previously booked with the company to offer new deals.
  • Promoting and selling travel-related products such as flights, hotel bookings, holiday packages, car rentals, and travel insurance, and others.
  • Working towards achieving individual and team sales targets and goals.
  • Up-selling and Cross-selling and identifying opportunities to offer additional services or upgrade existing bookings.
  • Making and managing travel reservations using booking systems and ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, bookings, payments, and any follow-up actions.
  • Utilizing CRM systems, booking software, and other technology tools efficiently.
  • Entering and updating customer information and booking details accurately in the system.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Staying updated on travel products, industry trends, promotions, and competitive offerings.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, travel industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Handling any problems that arise during the booking process or travel period, such as flight delays, cancellations, or overbooked hotels.

 

Profile Requirements :

 

  • University degree
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Prior experience in sales, particularly in the travel industry or a call center environment, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  • Strong sales abilities, including persuasion, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, booking software, and general computer skills Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer interactions and bookings simultaneously.
  • Understanding of travel products, destinations, and current industry trends.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle a variety of tasks.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • The ability to remain patient and empathetic, particularly when dealing with challenging customers or complex situations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • A genuine interest in travel and enthusiasm for helping others plan their trips.
