About the role: 

The Facilities & Design Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the

administrative building’s facilities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. This

role also includes supporting the Projects Department by producing and reviewing

architectural, interior, and technical drawings (2D and 3D) for ongoing and upcoming

projects.

Responsibilities: 

• Facilities Management:

 Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the building’s facilities (HVAC,electrical, plumbing, and security systems).

 Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules with contractors and service providers.

Monitor facility conditions and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Manage facility-related budgets, quotations, and procurement of materials and services.

Supervise janitorial, landscaping, and waste management services to ensure cleanliness and order.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

• Design & Projects Support:

Prepare, update, and review 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, interior, and renovation projects using AutoCAD, 3D MAX, Revit, or similar tools.

Collaborate with the Projects and Engineering teams to develop design concepts and technical layouts.

Create visual presentations, renderings, and space planning proposals.

Assist in design coordination, material selection, and site supervision when needed.

Maintain organized records of all design files, facility layouts, and project documentation.

Profile qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related

• field.

• 2+ years of experience in facilities management and/or design coordination.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D MAX, SketchUp, or other 2D/3D design software.

• Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety

• regulations.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

• Experience with project management or facility management software.

• Knowledge of sustainable design and energy efficiency principles.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance and design issues.
